There haven’t been many days better than today at Old Friends. Every retiree was full of vim and vinegar and Triple Crown Senior. Dan
and Stephen filmed Diane and I performing our daily feeding ritual. It seems that Bull Inthe Heather knows he’s got his own Breyer horse
coming out this week. He just seems to walk taller and sprint more confidently. Commentator continues to impress. I filled his ground
feeder just outside the fence and went back to the Gator for his carrots. He got tired of waiting and…most horses stick their heads
through the fence to get at the feed..but Commentator grabbed the edge of the rubber feeder with his teeth and pulled it into his paddock. Marquetry is doing great and, of course, once again, Clever Allemontreceived more than two dozen cards and donations which is about two dozen more that I received. But, as Diane points out, he’s more popular and better looking. Ellen brought us in a mutual birthday cake fromour friends theFOBS (Fans of Barbaro). Of course, it’s dominated by a large picture of Clever with a tiny picture of me in the lower corner. But I don’t take it personally. Honest.

As I mentioned last time, February is our toughest month financially. The halter program is going very well. Marquetry is already sold out.
