“On Friday, August 29, Little Silver Charm succumbed to old age. His estimated age was 38-40 years old. Michael and Diane were with him when he died. At Old Friends, hearts are broken. Photos of him have appeared all over the office, and Michael’s incoming mail has been a mountain of envelopes that look like cards from Little Silver Charm’s many, many loving friends. On coming up the hill to where his paddock was, his absence causes a tear or two. We miss him powerfully. I can imagine how many of his friends will feel the same on visits to OF for years to come.”
