The granddaughter of two Old Friends stallions, Criminal Type and Sunshine Forever, Miss Hooligan was a three-year-old maiden with 11 starts running for a $5000 tag when she caught the eye of a Kentucky partnership. A bold run and second place finish at River Downs had suggested she possessed competitive spirit. But when the veterinarian advised that a conformational flaw was a risk to Miss Hooligan’s safety if she continued racing, her owners did the right thing and retired her from the track. Her career earnings total $2,325. Miss Hooligan joined the roster of Old Friends retirees in July 2008. A gentle girl with a sweet nature, “Miss Hoolie” is a great favorite with visitors to Dream Chase Farm’s mare paddock. Share sheet info – click here. Donate to sponsor Miss Hooligan.
