Florida-bred Talk Logistics is multiple graded stakes-placed. Throughout his career he raced for Hardway Stables from the barn of trainer Edward Plesa, Jr. The chestnut colt won his first juvenile start ridden by Frankie Pennington. He finished second in the Buffalo Man Stakes and third in the Mucho Macho Man Stakes at Gulfstream Park. As a three year old he went on the Kentucky Derby trail in the Holy Bull Stakes, Fountain of Youth Stakes, then the Florida Derby won by that year’s Kentucky Derby winner, Always Dreaming. Talk Logistics went on to finish second in three stakes, the Pegasus (G3), the Long Branch, and the Smarty Jones Stakes (G3). At four, he won at a mile on the dirt at Gulfstream Park with Irad Ortiz, Jr. up. His final race, also at Gulfstream, was in February
